My Name Captain Dan and I will be your guide to a fun, safe and friendly fishing experience on beautiful Lake Michigan. I have over 30 years of experience fishing Lake Michigan and will always give 110% to put fish in the boat and make sure everyone has a memorable experience. I have fished fresh water lakes all over the country and Lake Michigan is one of the best fisheries in the U.S. I have chosen Waukegan Harbor as my home port because it is the most productive harbor on the Western Shore of Lake Michigan to fish from. It offers quick access to deep water which allows for short run times and more time spent fishing. This area of the lake produces the best catches on a day-to-day basis and therefore is the home of KingFin Charters. I hope to get you on the water soon and show you what a good fishery this really is and what a wonderful experience this can be. Lake Michigan Fishing Charters
Looking to experience Lake Michigan and what it has to offer? Our Guided Fishing Charter is your chance for a completely new experience. Whether you are a new comer or novice to great lake's fishing we are ready to show you a great time.
Choosing Your Charter
We offer 5, 6 and 8 Hour Charters leaving the dock twice a day. Morning charters depart at 5am or 6am and afternoon charters depart at 11 am or 12 noon. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure for a prompt departure.
When to Fish
Our Season starts the 2nd week of April and ends the 2nd week of October. Here are some recommended times to fish if you are targeting certain species.
April, May and June we will be fishing for Coho Salmon and Brown Trout.
July, August and September we will be fishing for King Salmon, Rainbow Tout and Lake Trout.
